Our 10yr old son survived COMMOTIO CORDIS after being hit by a pitch on March 4, 2023 and was released to play ball again 10 weeks later. He had to have a clear MRI, a clear stress and we were also told by his Cardiologist he would needed to wear a COMMOTIO CORDIS protective shirt at which time we contacted Unequal and the customer service was spot on. They made us feel like the truly cared about our son and that alone from a business is few, far and in between these days. We talked it over and decided on the HART shirt and he loves it. I'm not one of those over protective parents / coaches but when you see your son lifeless at the plate you will do whatever it takes to not see that happen again. He played in it for the first time this past weekend and he said he was comfortable wearing it. We know this may not prevent this from happening 100% but every little helps. Shipping was fast and again I can't say enough about Kyle and the team at UNEQUAL!

So far, so good! Our younger son says the Hart shirt has already been helpful. He was hit while sliding into a base the first day he wore the shirt. Our older son will be wearing his while pitching. I'm so grateful that these shirts are washable! I'm also glad this design is not a hard shell design; it moves with them much better. I do agree that going up one size works best.
