TO OPTIMIZE FIT:
The Dome can be customized to the exact shape of your fabric cap. It is designed for a large to extra-large fabric cap, but can be trimmed to fit small and youth sizes:
STEP 1
Press the Dome completely into the cap as far as it will go. Logo side rests on your head
STEP 2
If necessary, mark portions of the Dome tabs that go beyond the bottom of the cap and sweatband. Trim any excess padding with sharp scissors
STEP 3
Place the Dome back into the cap and tuck the tabs under the cap’s sweatband

Remove from helmet and hand wash with soap and lukewarm water. Do not submerge the Dome into water. Air dry.

Great idea. My hat sits higher on my head with the Dome inside it. I have tried two different hats and will keep trying.

As a healthcare worker, I never expected to be exposed to head trauma anymore after retiring from action sports. However, there are many overhanging lights and metal arms in our operatories. With so many objects and multiple people moving them all the time, it's easy to lose track of where they are and walk head first into them. In order to provide the best quality care to my patients, I have to protect myself the best I can. Unequal's Dome3 provides "unequaled" (see what I did there) protection. I seriously could not believe not only how effective it was, but how comfortable it was. Even with the extra barriers and equipment in the COVID-19 era, it doesn't impair or impede any of the additional equipment. Better yet, even though it was intended for baseball caps, it fits very well underneath a scrub cap. Also, it's low profile enough that it's not noticeable for either patient's or colleagues. I certainly rate this as an incredibly valuable investment, and I will be certainly ordering more in the future.
