  I love the protectiveness of the pads and the comfort of the fit. An issue I had with it was that the thigh pads tend to cover half the median thigh and half the outer thigh. Really where coverage is more needed is into the inner thigh-- that's more sensitive and much more likely to get hit. I had to get additional protective sheets for an extra cost and supplement where the padding is more needed.
