Pull the brown paper off the double sided tape
STEP 2
While holding Uncap HDR so that green padded side faces you, place it in the front inside of the cap; tuck the HDR underneath the hat's sweatband so that the bottom of the shell rests between the sweatband and the inside of the cap.
STEP 3
Push the sweatband against the tape to help secure it's location

Great concept....
The hat insert is a fantastic concept. But the adhesive strip does not work in anything smaller than an adult hat. Our sons are 11 and 13 and the sweat strip is not wide enough to attach the insert. Additionally, we wouldn't be able to move it from one hat to another. That's a necessity since they play on multiple teams and budgets are necessary. It is flexible enough to fit into multiple size caps, so I'm considering Gorilla two sided tape for attaching the insert.

Should work well
I bought for my 12 y/o after he took a line drive to the forehead while pitching. He had worn once so far without too much complaint. It definitely needs more tape to secure it inside of hat. Also that makes it necessary to have a second hat to wear when he's not pitching or when batting with hat under helmet. It didn't add to much bulk. I would recommend.

I like it
I'm an umpire and it fits under my cap and nobody knows I'm wearing it which I like. It gives good top of the head protection against foul balls and adds to the effectiveness of the mask.
