I’ve been a lacrosse goalie for over 30 years (yes, that’s true haha) and have found that this chest protector is the best one I’ve ever worn. More goalies in my men’s league have been buying them and say the same thing. My daughter just started playing goalie this year and I bought her the same one. They take direct shots better than any other. The heart protector is underneath the pads, which keeps the throat guard from catching like it does on most others letting you turn your head a lot easier without getting caught up. The adjustments are better as well, so the fit is always tight and doesn’t bounce around. My daughter has taken some gnarly shots and says it doesn’t hurt at all! Honestly, I’ll never go back to another chest protector for as long as I play and won’t let my daughter change up either. It’s worth the money.

Customer Service Rep. was VERY helpful...almost ordered a size too big but on recommendation went down a size and fit is GREAT! Haven't used yet but looking forward too. When our goalie took a bad hit and his old pads didn’t protect him well, I wanted to get him the best pad I could find. I felt a sense of urgency to get this pad before his next game so I expedited shipping. I decided to call Unequal’s office to make sure they got the order and get an idea of when we could expect the pads. Not only did they actually answer, they made sure the pad shipped that night and we had it the next day for the game! I was blown away at how kind and efficient they were.
