IMPORTANT - MEASURE THE PLAYER’S CHEST TO PROPERLY SIZE: Please do not assume sizing as you would typically when ordering apparel. The Unequal shoulder pads are not sized as a normal garment and proper coverage is of paramount importance. Players 5’8 - 6’2 tall & weighing between 145-155 may still be sized as SMALL in the Unequal chest protector. Chest measurements determine the correct size to help ensure fit & maximum safety.

HOW TO SIZE

MEASURE: Place a tape measure under your arms at the fullest part of your chest, wrap around your body until your fingers meet and mark the measurement. See sizing chart - locate player’s measurement within the various ranges of SMALL, MEDIUM, or LARGE.

SMALL = 26 to 36" Chest Size
MEDIUM = 37 to 45" Chest Size
LARGE = 46 to 52" Chest Size

Proper fit of chest protector will verify coverage of heart, sternum, collarbones and down to the bottom of the rib cage. Adjustable and removable side rib protection can be comfortably positioned for desired coverage without restricting ease of arm movement. Sufficiently tighten all adjustable straps to ensure shoulder pads are snug and stay firmly in place during play.

  When our goalie took a bad hit and his old pads didn’t protect him well, I wanted to get him the best pad I could find. I felt a sense of urgency to get this pad before his next game so I expedited shipping. I decided to call Unequal’s office to make sure they got the order and get an idea of when we could expect the pads. Not only did they actually answer, they made sure the pad shipped that night and we had it the next day for the game! I was blown away at how kind and efficient they were. The pad fits perfectly- we used the size chart on the site. Thank you again for giving us the piece of mind that our goalie is protected!

  My grandson was in goal during an offensive clinic facing some highly talented attackmen. He took a few shots to the chest during this clinic; the kind of shots where you can hear the thud on the gear all the way in the stands. I asked him how the chest protector worked. He said I didn't feel a thing! On top of the protection it provides, he said it fits great, is lightweight and allows him to move when making those low off stick saves.
