My 12 yr old son loves his Unequal chest protector. He used to complain about the old pads always moving around and how they limited certain movements. This Unequal chest protector fits so much better. He loves how it forms to his chest and doesn't limit his movements. He said he has taken shots directly on his chest pad and barely even felt them. I can definitely see he is much more confident in net wearing this protection. As a parent I love the fact that he only needs one chest protector and he can play goalie or field. By adding the opposite rib pad and the back pad, he now can play any position. No need to have 2 sets of pads. Last thing is the customer service is top notch. My 10y old son has been looking at chest protectors for months, this is the only one he did not try on in a store but he was just impressed with the technology and science behind this one. Putting it on the first time he said it was like a hug, comforting him. He wore it for practices only so far but feels more confident and any hits taken did not hurt. He has more mobility than before and in his words “clearing, dripping bombs!” We did invest in the right side pad and glad we did. Well constructed and a good fit (32” chest 5' 115#) we went with the small. Definitely happy with our purchase and look forward to a couple years of use from this protector.
