HOW TO SIZE
1. Use a soft tape measure to determine the player's head circumference. Measure completely around the head, in the location of the forehead, above your eyebrows and below your hairline. A string can be used to measure the head as well; identify the distance, and then measure the string with a yard stick or retractable tape measure.
2. See below and choose (SIZE 1) or (SIZE 2) based on the measurement along with your preference for a relaxed or more snug fit
SIZES
(SIZE 1) Head Circumference: 20 to 21" 20" (Relaxed Fit) ------ 21" (More Snug Fit)
(SIZE 2) Head Circumference: 21+ to 22"+ 21"+ (Relaxed Fit) ------ 22"+ (More Snug Fit)

UNDERSTANDING THE STATE-OF-THE-ART TECH
Advanced tech causes Unequal Halo to stiffen in cool/cold environments when not on your head. Warming then stretching will make it more flexible, and therefore making it easier to place on your head to acquire an accurate fit. Once you wear it for a few minutes, it will soften even more! Download the instruction sheet.
FOLLOW THESE STEPS BEFORE WEARING HALO
1. WHEN HALO IS COOL IT STIFFENS
When first removed from the carton or left in cool temps, Halo’s tech causes it to stiffen
2. WARM HALO TO NICELY SOFTEN
Warms and softens easily with your body heat or near another safe source of warmth*
3. ONCE HALO IS SOFT, STRETCH IT SOME
After it has been softened, grip two ends and stretch slightly for the best fit. It stays soft while on your head
4. PLACE SQUARELY ON YOUR FOREHEAD
For proper protection, Halo should be positioned squarely on your forehead, above your eyebrows and below your hairline

I have been using the
I have been using the Halo 1 for as long as I can remember so I was a little worried about trying the Halo 3. I wasn't sure how it would fit since it doesn't have the adjustable Velcro, but it is actually very comfortable. I used the Halo 1 size s/m and the halo 3 size 1 fits great. The material is softer and molds to your head very well leaving it both comfortable and protective. I have been wearing concussion protection for about 8 years now and Unequal has by far been my favorite brand. Their headgear is small/ light weight enough that it won't affect your play, but they are definitely very durable. There have been multiple occasions where I have taken a ball/cleat/shoulder/etc. to the head and I have had no serious head injuries since I have been wearing Unequal. I would definitely recommend their products!

light and comfortable
lighter than expected, bit tight (size 2), but softens a bit after wearing/warming up and is manageable. does protect on headers and such. might not give the most coverage, but is the lightest and probably most comfortable, and doesn't look out of place - basically looks like a normal headband. in the end, something is way better than nothing, and this is something that my son is okay wearing.
