My son is 12 and plays for a local 12U travel baseball team. He got a new bat this year. There is a bit of controversy in regards to this particular bat. That's what prompted me to look into a protective chest shirt for him. I went back and forth between 3 shirts, 2 from Unequal's website. I decided on the CC Hart 3 shirt and glad I did. 1.the pads are removable so for washing. He also catches and I was concerned the pads might get in the way, but he could take them out if needed. 2. They seemed like they would lay against his body better and not interfere with his swing when batting, or pitching. He's average height for a 12 year old, but very thin. I measured him and went with a medium based on the sizing chart. The shirt is extremely tight, but that's the way it's intended and it fits him well. He had a double header this past weekend and said it was very comfortable both games, and no one noticed it under his jersey. Happy so far.

Great product as expected this is the 3 one in 6 years. I love the removable plates and durability is awesome. Definitely gives my son a confidence boost.
