CHEST: Place the tape measure under your arms at the fullest part of the chest, and wrap around your body until the ends of the tape measure overlap. Mark at the point where overlap of the ends just begins.
WAIST: Measure around your natural waistline, right above your hip bones. Do not squeeze the tape measure tightly around the waist.

Fit and protective areas are fantastic. Only recommendations would be for Unequal to use the thicker padding from the Cobalt lineup to the Battle Ready, and to make the Battle Ready with optional long sleeves (highly useful with any sport that uses full sized elbow pads - ice hockey and box lacrosse for sure). Otherwise a perfect product.

Does what it needs
My son is on blood thinners for the next two months during baseball season. We like the rib protection but when he is at bat the chest part pops out like a giant nip

I recently ordered a larger size of the baselayer shirt for my son who plays hockey. He has worn these shirts for the last 2 years and they are highly protective.
