Sizing & Install

IMPORTANT - MEASURE THE PLAYER’S CHEST TO PROPERLY SIZE: Please do not assume sizing as you would typically when ordering apparel. The Unequal shoulder pads are not sized as a normal garment and proper coverage is of paramount importance. Players 5’8 - 6’2 tall & weighing between 145-155 may still be sized as SMALL in Unequal shoulder pads. Chest measurements determine the correct size to help ensure fit & maximum safety.

HOW TO SIZE
MEASURE: Place a tape measure under your arms at the fullest part of your chest, wrap around your body until your fingers meet and mark the measurement. See sizing chart - locate player’s measurement within the various ranges of SMALL, MEDIUM, or LARGE.

SMALL = 26 to 36" Chest Size
MEDIUM = 37 to 45" Chest Size
LARGE = 46 to 52" Chest Size

Proper fit of shoulder pads will verify coverage of heart, sternum, collarbones and down to the bottom of the rib cage. Adjustable and removable side rib protection can be comfortably positioned for desired coverage without restricting ease of arm movement. Sufficiently tighten all adjustable straps to ensure shoulder pads are snug and stay firmly in place during play.

Super comfy and worth the money!

As a broke college lacrosse player I was skeptical about spending this much money on a chest protector but let me tell you it was definitely worth it! I play attack, and this protector is so unbelievably comfortable and it doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing it! It doesn’t restrict my shooting or passing motion whatsoever and it is very lightweight and allows me to move freely! The customer service is also stellar, I emailed asking about some sizing questions and they got back to me within a few hours that same day and they hooked me up with my appropriate size! (I’m 5’8, 145lbs, and wear a small) Plus, I love the bright green color! Well done Unequal, well done!

I never write reviews on anything because I thought it was a waist of time; however, dealing with Kyle has been such an amazing experience people need to know. I called looking for information on shoulder pads. Kyle was so knowledgeable, informative and kind. He set us up with the best shoulder pads my son has owned. The shoulder pads protection surpasses all the other pads on the market. We feel confident and it puts our minds at ease that our son’s heart has the best protection possible.

My son is playing as a freshman in HS. He's been wearing the same clunky pads for four years and we recently upgraded to these Unequal LAX chest pads. The fit, adjustment capability, and protection is unmatched. These are the same quality and streamline build I received as an Infantry soldier.
